Fans are already looking forward to knowing the new theme that will be tackled in the next season of "American Horror Story," but executive producer Ryan Murphy revealed that they remain undecided about the final plot for season 6.

"The interesting thing about this season is we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done," Murphy revealed during the PaleyFest closing night panel, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

The executive producer said that the two ideas that they are working on at the moment are very different from the concepts that they presented in the past. However, he revealed that all the cast members who were present during the event could appear in the next season if they want to.

"I don't want to say what it is, but I will tell you that every darling person up here that wants to come back can come back," Murphy stated.

Murphy was joined by actors Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Denis O'Hare, Wes Bentley, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Finn Wittrock during the event on March 20.

At the moment, only Bassett has been confirmed to be included in the cast of the upcoming installment of the critically acclaimed horror anthology.

Meanwhile, pop superstar Lady Gaga confirmed that she will be back on the show for season 6 in an interview with Z100's Elvis Duran. She said she has accepted Murphy's invitation to return to the series. Gaga won her first acting award from the Golden Globes for her portrayal of The Countess on "American Horror Story: Hotel."

E! News said that Murphy's statement somehow hinted at the inclusion of "elements of children" in the sixth season. "If you look at horror tropes, the innocence of children, that sort of wide-eyed entryway into some world is always very dramatic and satisfying," the executive producer said.

FX has yet to announce the premiere date of "American Horror Story."
