'American Horror Story' season 4 finale episode spoilers - 'Curtain Call'

There are only three episodes left in "American Horror Story: Freak Show," which means fans should expect more terrifying scenes before the horror anthology concludes this season.

For its 13th and final episode, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is cooking something that viewers will never forget for a long time. The episode, which is dubbed as "Curtain Call," focuses on the realization of Dandy's (Finn Wittrock) dream of performing in a freak show.

In one of his previous interviews, Wittrock teased that Dandy will eventually get what he always wished for, which is to perform in a circus. But what will that performance be?

Meanwhile, the final episode will also show the freaks standing up against the new management. When Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) leaves the circus to pursue her dream of being a star, she turns over the management to Chester, played by critically acclaimed actor Neil Patrick Harris. Is he the one who will get the freaks' wrath in the end of the season?

Speaking of Elsa, the former freak show manager will finally get her wish of landing in Hollywood. But what is in store for her in Tinseltown?

The full official synopsis of the episode reads: "The Freaks rebel against new management. Dandy prepares for his debut performance. Elsa arrives in Tinseltown."

But as early as now, even before the season reaches its end, fans are already looking for clues about what is in store for them in season 5. Series creator Ryan Murphy already admitted earlier that all seasons of "American Horror Story" are interconnected, and episodes in "Freak Show" give clues on what season 5 will bring. One of them is Maggie's (Emma Roberts) cup, which Murphy said is "an arcane clue."

Fans are amazed at how the series creator came up with the idea of interconnected story arcs. Even actor Denis O'Hare, who is currently portraying the role of Stanley in "Freak Show," expressed his deep fascination with Murphy's treatment of the show.

"It didn't surprise me, because (Murphy) is an awfully clever guy," O'Hare stated. "The biggest challenge, of course, is the setting. If you set it too far in the past you make it difficult to make connections. With Asylum (the second season, set in the early 1960s) and Freak Show (set in the early 1950s) being only 10 years (apart), it made that a lot easier. But I'm just as excited as you are to see what (Murphy) will do."

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" returns on Jan. 7, and the season will conclude on Jan. 21.
