Amanda Knox trial: Leaked translated judicial report points to what really happened?

Amanda Knox's trial is far from over. This time, Knox will have to prove her innocence to her American countrymen after the more than 350-page conviction report from Italian Judge Alessandro Nencini was translated to English and leaked online, which could finally reveal the real story behind Meredith Kercher's murder back in Nov. 1, 2007.

Digital Journal published a detailed report by Selene Nelson, shedding light to the reason why the Italian court found Knox guilty of killing her British roommate. The new report debunks previous reports saying that Knox's guilty verdict has no basis, and she was a victim of a faulty ruling from a foreign court.

In the leaked report, it allegedly stated that Knox's disturbing pattern of lies were glaring, and that there are a lot of evidences that pinned her and her co-accused Raffaele Sollecito and Rudy Guede in the crime.

One of the most unsettling details about the case was the alleged burglary that Knox claimed happened the day Kercher was murdered. The prosecutors of the case had already stated that the reported break-in story was just an attempt to put the blame on someone else, but the inconsistencies of the evidences and Knox's stories are just too obvious, according to the report.

"The fact that the glass fragments from the window wound up on top of the strewn clothing and objects... is surely incompatible with a breaking of the glass in a phase preceding the ransacking inside the room of the apartment. The window glass evidently was broken after entry into the cottage, by someone who was already inside and had already arranged the disorder that was then seen by the witnesses," Judge Nencini stated.

Other important details about the case had been pointed out on the translated report, such as the knife on which Kercher's and Knox's DNAs were found, as well as Sollecito's DNA on the victim's bra clasp.

The Examiner picked up the leaked story, and reported that Knox benefitted from Gogerty-Marriott, the PR firm that was hired by her family after her arrest to clear her name in the U.S. media.  According to the article, Gogerty-Marriott barred mainstream media from interviewing Knox unless they vowed to make her look innocent.

Will America finally see Knox in a different light?

Now 27-years-old, Knox is reportedly working as a freelance reporter at the West Seattle Herald, a small weekly newspaper in Seattle.
