Ford has equipped the 2018 EcoSport with a variety of features that will not only allow customers to accomplish more tasks in a day but also make commuting a more enjoyable experience.
The American automaker recently launched a new ad and marketing campaign called Life Hack Academy, which features actress Tia Mowry demonstrating some tips and tricks that will make life on the go easier. A lot of these hacks also go hand in hand with the 2018 EcoSport.
In order to always stay connected, the all-new subcompact crossover comes with 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 devices. Customers remain connected to the internet even from as far as 50 feet from the vehicle. They can also be entertained and productive even while stuck in traffic jams. To keep devices juiced up, there are two fast-charging USB ports and a 12-volt power outlet.
The 2018 EcoSport's SYNC 3 infotainment system will also be available with Google's traffic and navigation app Waze later this year. Customers will be able to access real-time traffic information to avoid traffic jams and choose routes with quicker commute times.
Through the infotainment system's AppLink feature, the 2018 EcoSport can connect to the Ford+Alexa app. This will enable access to all the 25,000 skills of Amazon's digital personal assistant. Via voice commands, customers can play music, check the news, create shopping lists and even connect to household appliances while on the road
Despite being a subcompact crossover, the 2018 EcoSport features a versatile and spacious cabin. With 30 stowage pockets, bins and hooks, customers will have ample storage space for bags, gadgets and other equipment.
For transporting larger objects, customers can move the floor board and fold the second-row seats. They will then have space for sports equipment like golf clubs, luggage for road trips, antique pieces from vintage markets and boxes of homemade cupcakes for a bake sale. The rear can even be transformed for tailgate parties.
For more rugged adventures, the 2018 EcoSport is equipped with an efficient 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine and an intelligent four-wheel-drive system.
The 2018 Ford EcoSport is now available to purchase at dealerships with a starting price of $19,995.
