A new year means a new Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event. The E3 is arguably one of the best events for gamers to get in-the-know with everything related to gaming from possible consoles to future game releases and even demos. Bethesda has just recently announced its showcase date and here is what many gamers can expect from the video game company.

Bethesda, the developer behind popular series such as "Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout," will be featured on the third day of E3, which is on Sunday, June 10, 2018. For most, this will not come as a surprise since Bethesda usually has the same Sunday slots in previous years. What everyone wants to know is what the developer has in store for fans and gamers.

Unfortunately, but understandably, the folks over at Bethesda did not mention anything about what they will showcase. They did, however, upload a short 30-second video of famous characters from their games in paper cutouts. Gamers could probably expect some news from them but fans will know more specifics.

"The Elder Scrolls" fans, specifically, could highly expect a new expansion for both "The Elder Scrolls Online" and for "The Elder Scrolls Legends." As for the latter, if not an expansion or downloadable content (DLC), at least a huge update should be expected to come to the game. According to IGN, they could also be almost quite certainly be revealing something related to virtual reality (VR) that gamers will find out during the event.

Last year, Bethesda released "Fallout 4" on the VR. This came after they announced "The Creation Club," "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus," more details on "The Evil Within," "Skyrim" for the Nintendo Switch and a DLC for "Dishonored 2." That said, fans are expecting the same caliber of surprises from them for this year.

This year's E3 will happen on June 9 to 11, 2018. It will be held at the Hollywood Palladium.
