Matt Redman Launches Beautiful News in US

|PIC1|British worshipper/songwriter Matt Redman launched his new album Beautiful News in the US yesterday in the midst of rave reviews.

"At the core of Redman's talent is his ability to pen heart-penetrating lyrics...Great artists surface from the depths of great songs... Great songs have been and continue to be the foundation of his career." - CCM Magazine (December 2006)

"...an exhilarating compilation of fantastic worship songs....an excellent album that is filled with honest songs and intimate lyrics." - MusicFaith.com

The worship-driven set is led by first single "You Never Let Go," already a top ten hit on adult contemporary Christian radio.

Redman won the Praise & Worship Album of the Year GMA Music Award last April for Blessed Be Your Name: The Songs of Matt Redman VOL. 1, featuring live versions of his widely known modern church favorites including the title track, "The Heart Of Worship", "Let My Words Be Few" and "Better Is One Day" among others.

In addition to "You Never Let Go", some of the other new tunes on Beautiful News will include "Thank You For Healing Me", "Shine", "A Greater Song", and "Fearfully & Wonderfully Made".

Redman is confirmed to perform many of these selections at the Passion 07 worship conference that will be held 1 to 4 January in Atlanta, Georgia.
