'Criminal Minds' season 10 spoilers: Politics-related disappearance in episode 18 'Rock Creek Park'

The BAU will be delving into the mystery of a congressman's wife's disappearance in episode 18 of "Criminal Minds" season 10. Titled "Rock Creek Park," the episode will follow the team as they investigate the congressman's political rivals, as this might lead them to the whereabouts of the missing woman.

As Carter Matt noted, it's been a while since "Criminal Minds" had Kate and the FBI team look into a crime that has something to do with politics.

This episode is also special, plainly because of the guest star. Academy Award-nominated actress Tess Harper, known for her work in "Crimes of the Heart," is set to take part in the politics-driven episode. The 64-year old critically-acclaimed artist will be playing the role of Dinah Troy, who is the mother of the congressman in search of his wife.

This episode, though, will not be airing this week. CBS is planning to get fans at the edge of their seats for the looming ending of the current season. And to do that, the network will air "Survivor" for two hours in place of the series.

Meanwhile, Kate, Jennifer Love Hewitt's character in "Criminal Minds," will reflect the actress' real-life pregnancy.

"She's been acting out a little bit, and we reveal it's because Kate is gonna have a baby," executive producer Erica Messer told TV Guide. And referring to episode 17 of the series that started the pregnancy arc, she said, "The fact that she and Chris decide to have a baby rocks Meg a little bit."

The executive producer went on to say about Kate's niece, Meg, "Even though she's been raised by amazing people, there's an underlying abandonment since her parents were killed when she was very young. She's trying to deal with that and being 13 and navigate the world and see her place in it."

Season 10 episode 18 of "Criminal Minds" titled "Rock Creek Park" will be aired on March 25.
