Apple's iPhone 6 is expected to be released in September and will include new features.

Although Apple has not revealed the official specs and features of its next flagship smartphone, rumors claimed that the iPhone 6 will come with amazing features such as larger and stronger screen display, more powerful 64-bit A8 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, iOS 8 and fingerprint sensor. Apart from the expected features, iPhone 6 is also rumored to pack other useful features such as heart rate monitor, barometer and air pressure sensors. Below are the top four new features that could be included in the upcoming iPhone 6.

Heart Rate Monitor

Since Samsung packed S Health, Apple is eager to pack health apps and features in its smartphone. The company filed a patent for heart sensors to monitor the user's heart and record such data for future identification purposes when making banking transactions or protecting highly sensitive documents or data.

Barometer

Another feature of the upcoming iPhone is a barometer. Other devices already packed such feature, which is helpful to hikers and mountain climbers to measure altitude or even indicate temperature and other weather features via air pressure data. Although there are apps that measure the altitude, these are less accurate as it uses GPS and motion tracking data.

Air Pressure Sensors

Aside from barometer, iPhone 6 will also pack air pressure sensors to analyze the upcoming weather. The sensor will be beneficial to pilots and bikers. This particular feature can be included in the new iOS 8 and can be installed in the iPhone, iPad, and iWatch.

Smart Notifications and Alarms

Apple filed new patents that allows iPhones to collect data from sensors in wristbands and other types of accessories in order to track the user's activity level and set alarms, notifications, and other device settings based on what it sense about a device owner's current behavior.
