Hyundai confirmed that it will be releasing its latest state-of-the-art Display Audio system during the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in January. The South Korean car manufacturer will be the first maker to feature the new infotainment system that has an AM and FM HD Radio capability together with the Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto platforms that can be controlled by smartphones.

Hyundai Motor America's senior group manager for cross-carline planning Cason Grover shared, "Hyundai will offer more technology than ever before inside affordable Hyundai models, allowing owners not only to text message through voice commands and stream their favorite music apps, but also to make calls in a safer way, and navigate using phone-based, off-board navigation through the car's screen and controls."

Grover also said that since most budget car buyers come from the younger demographics, the company targets to provide the hipper, more technology-driven consumers what they want in a new car, especially the option of owning all the newest smartphone-compatible technologies at a more affordable price range.

Those who will use the Apple CarPlay system can enjoy compatible third-party apps that were released by iHeart Radio, Beats Music, Spotify, MLB At Bat, CBS Radio News, as well as the Cupertino-released Music and Podcast apps and its exclusibe Siri Eyes Free.

Meanwhile, Android users are also provided with the same features, as well as other apps like Pandora, SoundCloud, and WhatsApp. It also has the Google Now features.

The Hyundai Genesis will be showcased by IBiquity Digital in its own booth at the upcoming CES event at the 8232 Central Hall in Las Vegas. It will also feature advanced digital radio technology in other automobiles, such as the Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford F-150, Lexus RC, as well as Volkswagen that has HD Radio tuners.

However, there are no information yet about the price range of this feature.

The CES 2015 event will start on Jan. 6 and end on Jan. 9, 2015.
