In the next episode of "Young Sheldon," Meemaw (Annie Potts) refuses to give her brisket recipe to her son-in-law George Cooper (Lance Barber).

The trailer for the upcoming episode titled "A Brisket, Voodoo, and Cannonball Run" was just released recently and showed George taunting his wife Mary (Zoe Perry) that "it's happening." Apparently, he is excited that Meemaw may share her secret brisket recipe with him. She holds up the pages containing the secret ingredients to her special dish in front of George and says in a serious tone, "The holy grail." However, it appears that the grandma is not intent just yet to give the cooking instructions to him. This causes a feud between them which eventually affects the whole family. Meemaw is known to be a bit feisty and stubborn so if she does not want to share her recipe, she will not do it no matter what anybody says.

The kids namely Sheldon (Iain Armitage), Missy (Raegan Revord), and Georgie (Montana Jordan) see the adults feuding and decide to do something about it. With Sheldon leading the way, they devise ways to stop the family dispute so that everyone will be happy. However, Missy appears to be coming up short with solutions. "I got nothing," she says to little Sheldon. It remains to be seen if the kids will be able to make their folks reach a compromise.

In the previous episode, Sheldon urged his parents to get him a computer so that he could solve a problem a NASA scientist had regarding booster rockets. He did not get the computer but his folks drove to NASA headquarters in Houston with the kids so that Sheldon could share his research findings with the scientist.

"Young Sheldon" season 1 episode 7 will air on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 9:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
