In the next episode of "Young Sheldon," parents George Cooper (Lance Barber) and Mary (Zoe Perry) bring their son Sheldon (Iain Armitage) to a school for the gifted.

The trailer for the upcoming episode, which is titled "An Eagle Feather, a String Bean, and an Eskimo," was just released recently, and it shows Sheldon's parents taking him to see the headmistress of a boarding school for advanced students.

They stroll through the impressive hallway which shows pupils in formal school uniforms as they go about their day. Sheldon is awed by the institution and its focus on academics. They meet the headmistress who informs them that her husband was an astrophysicist who worked for NASA. However, he teaches now at the school. All of a sudden, Sheldon's eyes light up and says to his mom, "I'm tingling."

Apparently, the young boy is very interested in outer space and wants to work for NASA as well when he becomes older. The parents eventually enroll Sheldon in that special school. The young kid dresses in the formal school uniform. His grandma Meemaw (Annie Potts) is amazed and proud of the way he looks. "Wow!" she says. Sheldon just replies with a decisive tone, "I know. I look great." As it is a boarding school in Dallas, it remains to be seen how Sheldon will cope without seeing his family every day.

In the last episode, Sheldon tried to teach his brother Georgie (Montana Jordan) so that he could pass his subjects. However, Georgie opted to cheat instead of study, which his brother did not take too kindly. In the end, the two brothers were able to resolve their differences and not to be too hard on each other.

"Young Sheldon" season 1 episode 10 will air on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
