It is expected that the free games for Xbox Games With Gold February 2018 collection will be announced very soon, and the next lineup is likely to feature a huge and popular title to lead the pack. Rumor has it that the next lineup will be headlined by a horror video game, "Alien: Isolation."
As reported by Express UK, the Xbox Games With Gold February 2018 update will include bonus titles such as beta and demo versions of certain games, apart from the actual free video games to be offered that month. Microsoft has yet to announce the next lineup of games to be included in next month's lineup, although as expected in every other Games With Gold reveal, there will be at least one popular AAA title to be present.
Xbox Live Gold members will have to wait until the end of the month to know the next entries in the free games catalog. However, considering that last month's lineup was announced on Dec. 22, the free-to-play titles in February could also be announced sooner than expected.
Twinfinite speculates that the Xbox Games With Gold February 2018 free games list will feature the 2014 horror video game "Alien: Isolation," developed by Creative Assembly. The online publication believes that the game is worthy to headline next month's collection as it became very popular upon its launch in 2014. The game has also been around for four years, long enough to be included in the Games With Gold catalog next month.
If "Alien: Isolation" does not make it to the list, a worthy replacement would be "South Park: The Stick of Truth" in Xbox Games With Gold February 2018 free games list. The game is the first in the "South Park" RPG series, released before "South Park: The Fractured But Whole." As the game is already offered in bundle along with "The Fractured But Whole" in the Xbox Marketplace, it is likely to be featured as a free game by itself in the Games With Gold catalog very soon.
