In the next episode of "Will & Grace," lawyer Will Truman (Eric McCormack) and Grace Adler (Debra Messing) will struggle to convince themselves that they are okay with dating the same man by the name of Nick (Nick Offerman).

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "Friends and Lover" were released just recently, and they show Nick helping out Truman in the kitchen. In one instance, he affectionately puts his finger on Truman's lips as if to hush him from speaking any further. However, Nick is not only flirting with the lawyer, but he is also being nice to Adler who is also in the kitchen. Apparently, the roommates are quite interested in dating Nick, who seems alright with being with the both of them. However, Truman and Adler are not entirely convinced that they can share the same man.

The two best friends have always had each other's back when it came to dating. They would give each other advice and check on whoever they were interested in dating. However, this is one of those rare times where they have to come to terms with being with the same lover. It remains to be seen if they will be able to go through with that arrangement. Meanwhile, Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) and Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) have a difficult time getting a commercial jingle out of their heads.

In the last episode, the group of friends had a tour of the Immigrant Historical Society where the show reimagined them living during the 1900s at Christmas time. Their roles were changed where Adler and Truman were a wealthy couple, Walker was a poor immigrant, and McFarland was a straight man.

"Will & Grace" season 9 episode 8 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
