Fans who have been waiting to see "Venom" on the big screen are in for a treat as a new behind-the-scenes photo is now revealed online. A Tom Hardy fan's Instagram account has revealed the 40-year-old star's look in his costume as the symbiotic anti-hero while filming the "Spider-Man" spin-off movie, but it looks like something else.

The fan-made account, named Tom Hardy DotOrg, has shared a series of snaps from the film's behind-the-scenes, showing Hardy with a bunch of people working for the movie. However, the first picture caught everyone's attention as it seems like he is in character as the Spider-Man villain.

From the looks of it, the English actor is wearing a tactical gear with a black shirt underneath. As this does not look like the traditional costume Venom has, it might be implying a different storyline.

According to reports, "Venom" might be featuring the military background of Flash "Agent Venom" Thompson. This is said to be the best version of the symbiotic character's story compared to Eddie Brock's narrative. However, there are also assumptions that the Hardy-wearing tactical gear fans saw might also be Brock before he becomes the fourth recipient of the Venom symbiote. With that, there may be a big possibility that fans will see his backstory. In fact, there are already a number of images revealed from "Venom's" filming. These snaps give a glimpse of never-before-seen things, such as Brock's apartment. As the film's production already began, Hardy himself cannot help but share pictures while working on his new project.

Also, the "Taboo" star's workout regimen for the movie has been revealed via YouTube. Here, he is seen in training with his team, MMA fighter Nathan Jones and Mark Mene. This just hints that fans are about to see an intense battle involving the anti-hero as they promised it is going to be "carnage."

"Venom" is set to hit theaters in 2018.
