The conclusion of the highly popular "Uncharted" video game franchise was a bittersweet experience for its fans as most  of them had a hard time saying goodbye to the characters they had gotten very attached to. The release of the franchise's final installment — "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" — served as its closing chapter, ending the story of Nathan Drake.

However, a new report has now revealed that it might not yet be the end as brand new downloadable content (DLC) might be released sometime in the future. The DLC would apparently allow fans to reunite with their beloved characters in one last adventure.

The final installment in the series received much praise from the gaming community and was described by most as being a satisfying conclusion to the story of the "Uncharted" franchise itself. The game was also immensely successful and had sold more than 2.7 million copies in its first week alone.

The game's developer — Naughty Dog — is likely thinking about capitalizing on that success with the release of a brand new story-related DLC expansion pack. The news comes from a recent interview with one of the voice actors in the game, who had apparently leaked the information unknowingly.

The voice actor Troy Baker — who lends his voice to Nate's brother Sam — had reportedly leaked the information during an interview at the recently held London Comic Con event. Baker even mentioned that the upcoming DLC expansion pack may be the biggest story-related content that the studio has ever created for the franchise.

Unfortunately, not much was revealed about what it was going to be about. It was, however, hinted that the new story DLC will be following the new adventures of Nate and his brother Sam.

There are also reports which have suggested that the new DLC expansion pack may be officially unveiled during the upcoming 2016 PSX event that will be held in December. Sony is very busy preparing for the event and it would be the perfect venue to officially unveil the alleged new DLC.
