The live-action television adaptation of "Titans" season 1 is coming, and WBTV dropped the first look of Brenton Thwaites as Robin. However, it is not yet revealed if the 28-year-old star will be seen as Batman's partner in the new series.

According to reports, the "Gods of Egypt" star will be originally seen as Dick Grayson, living his life independently as a cop in Bludhaven. Supposedly, fans would not see him as the famous sidekick of Batman.

When Thwaites' character is announced as part of "Titans" season 1, he is said to play the role of Grayson and no mention of Robin's name. So there is a big possibility that the picture showing him as the other caped crusader might be part of a flashback story.

However, the live-action television series is said to be derived from Chuck Dixon's "Nightwing." So, viewers may see him in different stages of his life, from Robin to Nightwing, and possibly, even as Batman. With that, there might be a new photo of Thwaites as Nightwing that might be revealed soon.

Other cast members that will be joining "Titans" season 1 are Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Anna Diop as Starfire, Minka Kelly as Dove, and Alan Ritchson as Hawk. Also, Teagan Croft will be joining the show as Raven, Lindsey Gort as Amy, Neven Pajkic as the Large Man, and more.

Thwaites' marvelous Robin costume is made by Laura Jean Shannon, especially for the upcoming new series. She has been known for creating other stunning superhero outfits from "Black Lightning," "Iron Man," "The Jungle Book," and more.

"Titans" season 1 is from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions. The show's story will be led by Grayson as he puts his own team together. The series is expected to be revealed in 2018, along with "Young Justice" season 3, as part of DC's new streaming service.
