The apple does not fall far from the tree, as is the case with many soap characters and their parents. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Friday reveal a heated argument between the current Newman golden girl, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and her estranged sibling, Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Fans know how vicious Victoria has been lately and it is about time someone other than Abby (Melissa Ordway) stood up and called her out for her actions. Nick just so happens to be one of them. He will definitely have a problem with Victoria's attitude, in an effort to continue his goal of saving Chancellor Park. Nick will hope that he can stop the developer from turning the park into a space where a condo will be built.

Victoria, on the other hand, might not even care about Nick's sentiments. She is just too focused on playing dirty and power-tripping. This is when Nick will realize that Victoria is becoming just like their daddy dearest, Victor (Eric Braeden). The Newman patriarch clearly taught her well in that department. Nick will ask his sister if this is why she came back to work for Newman.

He will also contemplate on the idea that Victoria came back to Newman because she wants to show everyone that she is just as bad as Victor. Victoria will be outraged at his remarks and fire back. She will refuse to accept that she is turning into Victor, but unfortunately, that is exactly what is happening at the moment.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Scott (Daniel Hall) is unable to stop thinking about Abby ever since they slept together. Regardless, he is determined to stay devoted to Sharon (Sharon Case).

Abby will also find it hard to stop thinking about their hookup. This will happen while Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will urge her to work for Jabot permanently. Should Abby turn the idea down, then this might raise some suspicion. Ashley might wonder if Scott is involved. Her daughter will deny that idea and point out that Scott getting in her way is the last thing she needs to deal with. Ashley however, will not buy it.

Apart from Ashley, Sharon will also have her doubts about Scott. He will suddenly snap when she mentions Nick. Scott will think that she wants him to be more like her ex. He will continue to lash out at her, but she might wonder where this is all coming from. With that in mind, Sharon may have made a simple comment that did not warrant a violent reaction. Obviously, Scott's feelings towards Abby seems to make him a lot jumpier.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays, 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
