"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Friday's episode reveal some heated confrontations and surprising ideas. For starters, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will be furious when she receives some news about Abby (Melissa Ordway).

Abby knew that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was going to fire her from Newman Enterprises, so she decided to beat her to it and quit. Ashley will be filled with rage. She will be angry at Victoria and she will get more upset that Victor (Eric Braeden) just let this happen. She will start ranting about everything that her daughter has dealt with over the past few weeks. She really does not like the way they are treating Abby.

She will decide to confront Victor about making Abby's life miserable at their side of the family. She will vent about Abby being kicked out of her job after everything she had to go through. Victor might reveal that it was her choice to leave. Ashley might wonder what Victor expected. Did he expect her to suck it up?

Fans know that everyone was trying to make her a scapegoat by pinning the blame on her for causing the big scandal at Newman. Victoria was going to terminate her employment, too. Know that Abby's not working for Newman anymore, Ashley might be able to find a place for her at Jabot so she can start on a clean slate.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Sharon (Sharon Case) will think about a big decision that she is going to make. She will run her idea by Nick (Joshua Morrow), but there is a possibility that he will not like it. Sharon will decide to ask Scott (Daniel Hall) to move in with her.

Nick will definitely be surprised, especially knowing that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) spends a lot of time at her place. He still does not trust Scott, so he might advise her not to take this step. Regardless, Sharon is focused on making sure Scott remains faithful, and she believes this kind of move is the way to prevent a romance between Scott and Abby from happening.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
