'The Good Wife' season 7 spoilers: Alicia demonstrates her fury to Eli in new promo

Eli's confession did not sit well with Alicia. After breaking up Alicia and Jason, the apologetic campaign expert told the former that six years ago, he deleted a message from her former lover Will Gardner. In the messages, Gardner professed his feelings for her. A promo for the next "The Good Wife" season 7 episode titled "Iowa" showed Alicia throwing a fit.

After sharply shutting Eli up as she fought back her intense emotions, Alicia could no longer contain her wrath. The weight of what she just learned hit her hard. She kicked back her chair and as she screamed, she threw her drink at Eli, scaring him off in the process.

In the next sequence, she prepared a stack of plates, one of which she violently flung towards Eli's direction and the others she smashed on the floor and in every direction. As TV Guide points out, this is the first time fans will see Alicia in such beastly condition in "The Good Wife" because she is normally collected and quiet.

While it is still unclear what could have happened if Alicia knew about the voicemail, this does not change the fact that she deserved to know about the message.

Now, she is once again a victim of a sabotage scheme. This time it's with Jason, so Peter's presidency will not be spoiled. Having felt how painful it is to be parted from a loved one, Eli discovered that what he did was wrong, but he did not expect Alicia's reaction will be that outrageous.

The confession will definitely change the dynamics in the office in the next episode of "The Good Wife" season 7. It does not look like Alicia will forgive Eli, so the campaign operative should be careful now that someone is very angry at him. The series returns on Jan. 10.
