Fortunately for PlayStation 4 players, Sony and Bethesda have now kissed and made up as they have apparently resolved all the misunderstandings with the PlayStation 4 mod support for the company's two main video game titles, "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim – Remastered" and "Fallout 4."

In line with the good news, Bethesda has now revealed new details regarding the PlayStation 4 mod support for their upcoming newly remastered "Elder Scrolls" title.

The games developer has recently answered some frequently asked questions and clarified that the PlayStation 4 mod for "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim – Remastered" will have a limited space of only 1 GB. The available space for Sony's console will apparently only be a fraction of what will be available for the Xbox One version of the game, which will be about 5 GB of space.

The big jump in the allotted mod space is also in line with the previously allotted space for the PlayStation 4 mod support for "Fallout 4," which was just 900 MB compared to the 2 GB that was available for the Xbox One version.

It has to be noted that the PlayStation 4 version of "Skyrim" will not be able to use external assets, which means that any mods that it will be able to use will not be occupying a lot of space. Majority of the assets within the game are mostly miniscule in size, with most of them taking no more than 1 MB.

Despite the smaller allotted space, PlayStation 4 players are still greatly appreciative that mod support is coming out at all, seeing as that it had been delayed for "Fallout 4" for a number of months before it was released.

"The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim – Remastered" will be including full mod support along with a number of graphic enhancements and improvements.

The game is scheduled to be released this week, on Friday, Oct. 28, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and for Windows PC.
