Wednesday's episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful" will have some moments between certain fathers and their children. Spoilers indicate that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Bill (Don Diamont) will be having chats with their children.

Starting with Ridge, he will have a heart-to-heart talk with Steffy (Jacqueline McInnes Wood). The two of them will think that everything is finally back in its place. Apart from the relief they might be feeling, Ridge will show his daughter the engagement ring he asked Quinn (Rena Sofer) to design for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Ridge hopes that Steffy will give him her blessing when he decides to ask Brooke to marry him again. Steffy will do so, followed by some wise words.

She will suggest that if one truly cares about someone, they will never give up on them. Ridge will also agree that it takes losing something to understand how precious it is. He certainly experienced that with Brooke. Now, he will get his chance at a clean slate with her, and he will want to put the past behind them as they move forward with their life together.

Steffy will think that this is the best way for her own marriage too. She will make a promise to herself — and perhaps to everyone else — that she will be faithful and focused on Liam (Scott Clifton) and not let anything come between them anymore.

Speaking of Liam, he will have some time with his father too. However, when he stops by, he will notice that Bill is acting a little odd. That is not going to stop Liam from raving about his life with Steffy, though. He thinks that everything will be fine from now on. Liam will notice again how distracted his father is. He will assume that this is about Brooke, perhaps because of the fact that she had moved on with Ridge.

Bill will obviously change the subject. He does not want to admit that Steffy is the real reason why he has been so distracted. He wants Steffy, and being away from her just makes him want her more. Either way, Liam will try to get Bill to open up. He will note that Bill no longer has Brooke by his side, so he should not keep his feelings bottled up. Of course, that is going to happen anyway.

Their little talk might not exactly turn out how Liam would have in mind. Bill will try to get rid his son and keep his mouth shut about his one-night stand with Steffy. As previous spoilers have suggested, this is only going to get worse. The truth will come out sooner or later and the fallout will be big.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs Mondays to Fridays, 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
