Executive producer Jason Rothenberg wasn't kidding when he said that the "The 100" season 3 trailer will be epic. The preview for what appears to be a drama-filled, action-packed and bloodbath to the top new season of the series has just landed.

The three-minute trailer shows a glimpse of Pike, the gang's latest adversary played by "Sons of Anarchy" alum Michael Beach. "This land is ours now. Resist and you will be greeted by death," the latest Ark Side member announces, showing off his killer principles.

"The 100" season 3 trailer also shows Clarke, who left the Sky People last season only to be the biggest target of the enemy, rocking some red locks and a new back tattoo. Along with it comes a new and much more badass attitude.

The clip also set in stone the return of Lexa. However, her reunion with Clarke is not something fans are expecting. In the trailer, Clarke, who seems to have returned from her isolation, has different greetings to Lexa and Bellamy. She holds a knife against's the former's throat while the latter receives a big hug.

A good chunk of the trailer focuses on Octavia and Bellamy's feud. In the promo, the former is seen giving the latter a bloody beat down before declaring, "You're dead to me." Octavia believes that her brother chose the "wrong side." She isn't the happiest person about Bellamy's choice but she definitely is the angriest about it.

What "The 100" season 3 trailer also proves is that a war is definitely brewing but in the midst of it, romance will also blossom. Octavia and Lincoln are seen sharing a tender moment in the preview.

If anything, the clip proves that the upcoming season of the post-apocalyptic drama will be its best, most epic and bloodiest one yet. While the Mount Weather was has been won, viewers will see the characters still struggle to find peace within themselves.

"The 100" season 3 premieres Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
