"Stranger Things: The VR Experience" was made available on the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, Dec. 12. VG247 reports that fans of the original Netflix series can now experience the hair-raising moments of meeting a demogorgon face to face via the PlayStation VR (PSVR).

In "Stranger Things: The VR Experience," players can experience walking around the Byers' residence. Players can even walk up to the iconic alphabet scribbling and Christmas lights on the wall where Will communicated with his mom, Joyce, when he was in the "upside down."

Gamespace also reports that players can enter various rooms in the Byers' house, including Joyce and Will's rooms, the kitchen, and the living room. In addition, brave souls can go even further and have their own adventures in the "upside down." To keep the atmosphere accurate, players will also be able to experience the creepy ambient sounds of the game, as well as the distinctive phone ringtone of the 80s.

PSVR owner can get the "Stranger Things: The VR Experience" for free at the PlayStation Store. Players are advised to allocate at least 3.5 GB of storage for the game.
