Following the abrupt disappearance of new episodes for the highly popular animated television series "Steven Universe" since September, fans were quite worried that the show might have been cancelled.

However, new reports have suggested that the show will indeed be coming back from its mysterious one-month hiatus, and it will apparently be back in full force with even more amazing episodes.

Several reports have already confirmed that the show will indeed be back with new episodes next month. The basis for the claims are the recent statements from the series' creator Rebecca Sugar, and the recently released trailer for the show's brand new episode titled "Gem Harvest."

The trailer itself is indication enough for some fans to be quite excited about the next set of challenges that will be facing Steven and the Crystal Gems.

According to the latest spoiler reports, the upcoming new episodes may be featuring the long awaited fusion of Steven and Peridot. Fans, however, may not be only seeing one fusion, but possibly several others in the coming episodes.

There are also reports that have suggested that a possible fusion between Peridot and Lapis Lazuli may also be happening. The fusion is likely necessary to happen as a new villain could be coming in the form of the Blue Diamond. The power needed to thwart the new threat may lie in the fusion between the two Crystal Gems, which means that it is very likely to be happening very soon.

A brand new character may also be introduced in the coming episodes. The voice actress Ashly Burch had recently posted a tweet on her Twitter account which mentions that she will apparently be part of the show very soon.

There are no clues yet as to identity of the character she will be portraying, so fans would just have to wait and see when the new episodes arrive next month.
