The highly popular military science fiction real-time strategy video game, "StarCraft 2," has just now received a brand new patch which looks to contain a large amount of changes to the game's single player and its multiplayer modes. The game's developer and publisher, Blizzard Entertainment, also included the final mission pack for Nova Covert Ops which was revealed to be the final set of missions that will put an end to the Nova Covert Ops storyline.

With the release of the latest patch called Patch 3.8.0, Blizzard also published a post on their official website detailing the changes and additions that will be coming with the patch. The final mission pack for the Nova Covert Ops will automatically become available to those who have previously purchased the add-on or the full mission bundle for the game. The mission pack apparently also contains several new technologies which players will be able to access and use against their opponents.

Additionally, the patch also contains a brand new co-op mission titled "Miner Evacuation." The new mission involves players rescuing several miners who are trapped within a planet that has been overrun with the infested. While transporting miners out of the planet, players must protect the escape shuttles that are ferrying the rescued passengers.

As for the changes that are coming to the game's multiplayer mode, Blizzard has apparently revamped the mode with rather big changes to several units including their stats and their abilities. Some examples of the changes include the Cyclone now becoming an anti-armor DPS unit, while the Siege Tank has also been made more powerful this time around. Battlecruiser units will also now sport a new ability cooldown timer, replacing its standard energy bar.

"StarCraft 2" was originally released with "Wings of Liberty" in 2010, "Heart of the Swarm" in 2013, and finally "Legacy of the Void" in 2015.
