"Star Wars Battlefront 2" might be facing an uproar, but a hidden gem has been found within it. A Reddit user discovered a concealed character customization in the newly released title, and this is believed to be offcially revealed at a later date.
Reddit user named uninspired_zebra has been known for revealing veiled datamines from the action-shooter video game using codes. Now, he shared the hidden customization menu that will allow its players to modify their characters.
Uninspired_zebra shared a YouTube video where he unveiled an extensive look at the character customization menu for "Star Wars Battlefront 2's" clone armies. The video clip shows the game's PC version, having a Change Appearance menu in the Assault character class.
The character's appearance can be seen being customized with the game's six factions. With the Galactic Republic faction, a number of options for the individual's skin would be revealed. It is the same thing to be done to customize the Rebel Alliance character's appearance.
Here, players can customize the looks of Captain Phasma and General Grievance. The 501st Legion skin can also be used, along with the Coruscant Guard in "Star Wars Battlefront 2."
However, the dataminer also noted that not every player can easily get into it, thus EA and DICE might add this feature in the game's cosmetic unlocks. But, it could also be something that the video game companies decided not to add to the game. So, fans have to wait for an official announcement.
Now that "Star Wars Battlefront 2" is on its post-launch stage, its publisher earlier revealed that it is planning to filter microtransactions to a greater extent. So, the hidden character customization is expected to be added to that.
