Former "The Bachelor" star Nick Viall will be making his acting debut in the second season of ABC's sitcom television series "Speechless." The eighth episode titled "B-I-- BIKINI U-N-- UNIVERSITY" will see Viall guest star as Tyson, J.J.'s (Micah Fowler) new friend who happens to be a B-movie actor.

According to the episode synopsis from TV Guide, Tyson will give the performance of his life to keep J.J. out of trouble. From what can be discerned from the episode title and the synopsis, Tyson will be trying to convince J.J.'s parents to take their son with him to visit a university. What the DiMeo's do not know is that Tyson has an ulterior motive and it could very well be taking their son to a college party involving bikinis as suggested by the title of the upcoming episode. Elsewhere, the synopsis also reveals that Ray (Mason Cook) has something wild in mind when he is left home alone for the first time. Considering how honesty is an important policy for J.J. and his family, will Tyson get away with his plan?

Meanwhile, his appearance in the show will mark the first acting role for Viall who was first known for appearing in ABC's reality television dating game show "The Bachelor" where he proposed to special education teacher Vanessa Grimaldi in the 21st season of the show. However, the couple ended their engagement earlier this year in August.

Viall had also appeared in the 10th and 11th season of "The Bachelorette" as one of Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's suitors. He ended up making it to the final stage of both seasons. However, both Dorfman and Bristowe chose the other bachelor over him. Viall is also set to star in the ION television film "A Christmas Cruise."

"Speechless" season 2 episode 8 will air on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 8:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
