Dean Munsch, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, will be back in "Scream Queens" season 2 more ambitious than ever. FOX

"Scream Queens" season 2 adds "Saturday Night Live" veteran Cheri Oteri to its list of guest stars. The comedian made it official on Twitter, where she shared a selfie of hers and cast member Jamie Lee Curtis.

"Not enough O's in the word cool to describe this Girl. One of the Good Ones. Love her," Oteri captioned as she gushed about working with Curtis for the horror comedy.

Her role in "Scream Queens" season 2 is yet to be revealed, but it appears that she has completed filming her spot in the series. Curtis posted a photo of Oteri on Instagram, imploring the star to "come again."

Oteri is just one of the guest stars in the new season. Her fellow "Saturday Night Live" star Cecily Strong was also tapped to star in "Scream Queens" season 2.

Show creator Ryan Murphy could not help but praise the star for her "brilliant" performance on the show. Strong will appear in the premiere.

"Arrow" star Colton Haynes was also tapped to play the role of a mysterious patient in what was reported as a multi-episode arc.

Curtis shared a photo of Haynes with cast members Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd having a good laugh on the set in between takes. Other guest stars to expect are Laura Bell Bundy and Jerry O'Connell.

"Scream Queens" season 2 will be set in a hospital. John Stamos and Taylor Lautner will play doctors in the new season. Murphy loves the new setting for the show and the storytelling opportunities it gives them

"You get to have these great medical-mystery cases, so it'll be: OK, what's wrong with this person, and how can we cure them?" Murphy said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"With that you also have stunt casting opportunities galore — opportunities to go after great comedic actors," he went on to say.

"Scream Queens" season 2 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
