Sarah Hyland might be funny in her stint as Haley Dunphy in ABC's "Modern Family," but the 27-year-old star is not that confident of her comical skills. Fortunately, she has her boyfriend, Wells Adams, who supports her all the way in everything she does.

"I think the only person who actually somewhat finds me funny is my boyfriend ... Thank God!" she told People at the backstage of 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball on Friday, Dec. 1. The "Geek Charming" actress is not certain of her comedy skills as she thinks that she is getting hysterical at times, although she is really not.

Hyland even cited an example by sharing a great piece on her Instagram Story. However, she is not sure if people would like it as this app's feature does not get responses from her followers. "I don't know if people actually like them or not!" she added.

The "Modern Family" star and "The Bachelorette" contestant made their romance publicly official in November. In fact, the rumors between the two started when they were seen wearing matching "Stranger Things" costumes.

Hyland opted for Mike's (Finn Wolfhard) look, while Adams went for Eleven (Bobby Millie Brown) with her pink dress and, of course, Eggos. Their looks were posted on the "XOXO" actress' Instagram and captioned it with, "#strangerthings have happened," which seemed to be confirming their relationship.

To recall, before the couple became a thing, Hyland was openly talking about having a crush on Adams. This started when she saw the radio DJ for the first time in "The Bachelorette" with JoJo Fletcher. Later, when he returned in "The Bachelor in Paradise" season 4, they began exchanging flirty tweets.

Now, reports reveal that they have been dating for months now. They are evidently enjoying their time together as Wells recently planned a week-long birthday celebration for his love. This even included a visit to Disneyland.
