The latest episode of the television series based on the characters by Archie Comics "Riverdale" will see Betty (Lili Reinhart) reveal her suspicion about a personality in town who she thinks is the Black Hood killer. The mystery killer had recently challenged Riverdale to remain sinless for the next 48 hours otherwise he will strike again.

The promo for the upcoming installment shows Betty telling Veronica (Camila Mendes) about her feeling on Sheriff Keller (Martin Cummins). Apparently, she suspects that Keller is actually the Black Hood killer. Later in the trailer, Betty and Veronica are seen sneaking into the premises of Keller to investigate. Veronica decides to go down a staircase where she spots the sheriff doing something that seemingly surprises her. What she saw will remain a mystery until next week.

Meanwhile, the synopsis from Den of Geek suggests that Penny Peabody (guest star Brit Morgan) will come out of nowhere to ask Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to return a favor he owes her. Penny can be recalled giving Jughead legal advice with regards to getting his father FP (Skeet Ulrich) out of prison. FP's sentence was then reduced thanks to Penny's advice. It is unclear what Penny wants out of Jughead, but it is suspected to be shady in nature.

In the previous episode, Jughead and Archie (K.J. Apa) took it to the streets and challenged the Ghoulies' leader Malachai (Tommy Martinez) to a drag race. Malachai would have been allowed to continue selling drugs at school had he won, but he was caught by the authorities in the midst of the race and was sent to jail. Had the race continued and he lost, he would have been forced out of Southside to let the Serpents take control over the area.

"Riverdale" season 2 episode 7 will air on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 9 p.m. EST on the CW.
