Jill Zarin, alum of the hit American reality TV show series "Real Housewives of New York City," has recently opened up about the support she received when husband Bobby Zarin passed away last Jan.13 due to thyroid cancer.

Part of this support allowed the widow to make up with co-alum Bethenny Frankel.

The philanthropist's husband was diagnosed with the said cancer in 2009. While the Zarin family initially thought it had subsided, Jill confirmed last November 2016 that her husband's cancer had returned. This caused Bobby to be hospitalized last July 2017.

Jill recently posted a tribute to Bobby on her Instagram account. She also thanked her friends and family for their efforts.

The reality TV star opened up about the "overwhelming" love that she received in several outlets. Particularly, she expressed gratitude to several alums from different "Real Housewives" series.

Support for the Jill grew even more since her husband's funeral was open to friends and family. Most of her co-alums from the reality show came to extend their condolences.

However, the surprise news here was Bethenny Frankel's visit. The former friends had been avoiding each other following their fight in the third season of the show.

Jill has since shared in an interview with People that they have made up, even saying that one of Bobby's wishes "came true." "Bobby loved Bethenny, thought a lot of what happened was my fault," she revealed, adding, "He said, 'You don't have to be best friends, but you should be friends.'"

Others who reached out to her include fellow New Yorker Ramona Sessions and "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Vicki Gunvalson.

"Ramona has been incredible," Jill shared in a News. "She texts me, she emails me, she showed up at the hospital early on," she added.

Other alums who sent their regards were New Jersey alum Melissa Gorga. Cynthia Bailey, an alum from Atlanta, also messaged her. Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley, both part of Jill's experience in New York, paid their respects during the funeral too.

Jill said that she will continue her work as a philanthropist to pay tribute to how Bobby lived his life.
