The augmented reality mobile video game "Pokémon Go" provides a lot of challenges for wannabe Pokémon masters. One of the most difficult tasks to accomplish, however, is the evolution of rare Pokémon. What makes the task difficult is, of course, the process of gathering enough candy for the specific Pokémon in order to evolve it into its next or final form.

There is, however, a couple of ways of getting more candy for any particular Pokémon and a player can take advantage of these tricks in order to quickly evolve their rare Pokémon.

The recently released update for the game introduced the game's brand new "Buddy System," which allows players to select any Pokémon in their collection and then take it with them while they travel or walk around. The Pokémon then gives out a single candy when a particular distance has been traveled. The travel requirement will, of course, depend on the Pokémon that has been chosen to be a player's buddy.

Another method of acquiring a lot of candies for the same type of Pokémon is by catching that particular Pokémon over and over again and then transferring them to the Professor for even more candy. One way of achieving this is by taking down notes of a particular Pokémon's spawn points. Spawn points are areas in the real world where the game spawns a certain kind of Pokémon almost every hour.

Players can try to discover these locations by walking around and then taking note of the area and the time that the Pokémon was sighted. If the Pokémon reappears after about an hour, then the location is likely a spawning point for that particular Pokémon. The "sighting" tool that can be found on the lower right-hand corner of the game's interface can also come in handy as it will act as a players guide as to what types of Pokémon are available in a specific area.
