PlayStation Plus subscribers get free games inlcuding 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' this month, plus a booster pack for 'Warfame'

The official PlayStation blog has just announced the free games for PlayStation Plus members. The lineup included popular titles like "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and "Batman: The Telltale Series."

PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get a bonus game, "Starblood Arena," from Jan. 2 to March 6. This arena game uses virtual reality (VR) as its main feature and players can use their PlayStation VR headset to play. According to the official blog, players can "attack, evade, and move in any direction as you compete against pilots from across the galaxy. You'll fight for glory, credits, and your life."

As for the main list of free games, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" tops the list. This installment to the Deus Ex series of games follow the events after the Aug incident, a time when "mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies."

The game offers more of the sci-fi action that the earlier titles featured. There will be more high-tech gadgets, future tech, weaponry, and of course, conspiracies.

"Batman: The Telltale Series" is a lesser-known Batman game, but still a successful one nonetheless. Of the many games featuring the Dark Knight, this is one of the games where choices matter and players will have to face the consequences of their choices. In the game, players will take the role of the both Batman and Bruce Wayne.

"Sacred 3" will also be available for free on the PlayStation 3. This action role-playing game (ARPG) is a sequel of the classic "Sacred," which in turn was inspired by ARPG craze started by the "Diablo" franchise.

In addition, PlayStation Plus members who want to try "Warframe" will have freebies in the form of the "PlayStation Plus Booster Pack II Bundle."

This pack includes 100 Platinum, 50,000 Credits, Akmagnus Dual Pistols, Akmagnus Obsidian Skin, a three-day Affinity Booster, a three-day Credit Booster, and a Dragon Mod Pack. It can be claimed starting Jan. 16.
