This coming week is a good time to be a fan of fantasy epics and fighting games as the upcoming video game releases for Playstation 4, Playstation VR, and Playstation Vita are filled with the most action packed titles that are guaranteed to bring out the competitive gamer in everyone.

Here are some of the titles of the upcoming releases for the week:

"Striker's Edge:" Set to be released for the Playstation 4 on Jan. 30, 2018, this is a game looks to prove that dodgeball already existed even during the ancient times, it was way more dangerous back then.

The official game description says that it is designed to "deliver the ultimate "Dodgebrawl" battle experience, Strikers Edge features a roster of eight ancient warriors from different eras and civilizations ready to enter the fray. Dodge, take cover, aim and scorch the earth with devastating moves! When medieval fantasy meets dodgeball, only the top Striker will be victorious in online or local multiplayer battles."

Stirker's edge will be available for release in Europe on Jan. 31 via PSN.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT:" Dissidia is a fighting game to bereleased by Square-Enix, with the title suggesting that it will be focusing on final fantasy protagonists. The game is said to include 30 years of Final Fantasy in one game, now that is a lot of characters.

The game's official webpage describes it as a fast-paced, team battle style brawler where players can form teams of three and choose over 20 iconic Final Fantasy characters. The game is set to be released on Jan. 30 in North America and Europe.

"EA Sports UFC 3:" Electronic Arts' latest offering of the UFC fighting game, it boasts a huge roster with the latest up-to-date rankings of all the fighters of both the men's and women's division. The fighters and ratings were released on the game's official website this January 17

"Out of Ammo:" To be released for the Playstation VR at the end of January, the official description reads: "with a simple yet engaging aesthetic approach, Out of Ammo puts players in the roles of general and grunt in the midst of heated battles intensified by the immersion of virtual reality. As general, players dictate where to place fortifications and troops."

"Time Recoil:" If Max Payne was a stick figure, this would probably be the best game to describe him. A title for the PS Vita, Time Recoil is set to be released on September 12. The game focuses on single bullet kills with an added time slow down effect for more dramatic kills.

All the said releases are subject to change and may be released at a later date. They will be added to the Playstation store for North American and European Clients.
