The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus surprised the entire smartphone market when it previously unleashed a top-end flagship device, the self-proclaimed "flagship killer" the OnePlus One.
Earlier in the year, the company released their latest flagship, the OnePlus 3, but now rumors have started to circulate the possible specs and features of its successor, the formidable OnePlus 4.
The currently available OnePlus 3 is a one-of-a-kind contender in the highly competitive smartphone market, but its successor is expected to be even more so as it will reportedly be sporting the latest features that modern technology has to offer. The company itself hasn't yet made any official announcements regarding their new product, but that hasn't stopped the device's name from popping up in numerous tech forums and publications.
According to various reports, the OnePlus 4 will be another device from the company that will be aiming to stand out from the crowd of flagship smartphones next year. There are rumors that the device could be coming out with some sort of pressure sensitive OLED screen when it is released.
Hardware-wise, reports have pointed to a possible Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset powering the device, which will likely be coupled with a whopping 8 GB of RAM. The powerful combo would certainly translate to an awe-inspiring device that should be buttery-smooth when operated.
Other rumored specs for the OnePlus 4 includes a possible 21 or 23 megapixel camera nestled in the rear of the device. To compensate for the large image files that it generates, the device is reportedly going to be offered with 64 GB of internal storage capacity which could be expandable to either 128 GB or 256 GB via an SDcard slot.
Despite the absence of any official confirmation from the company, reports have pegged the release of the OnePlus 4 to be around the same time as the OnePlus 3's release this year, ehich is sometime around June of 2017.
