Rumors and reports regarding the possible second season cancellation of the highly popular manga turned anime television series, "One Punch Man," can finally be put to rest as the series' creators have now confirmed that Season 2 is indeed coming out very soon.

Fans are of course excited about the news, and many of them can now breathe a sigh of relief after finding out that their favorite bald-headed hero is coming back to the small screen.

The announcement that confirmed the existence of the show's second season was made through the anime's official Twitter account. The post itself included an image that showed Saitama's fist along with the anime's title with a big number "2" boldly placed on top. While the post does confirm the existence of the new season, it still did not reveal its official release date.

As an added bonus, the people behind the show also announced the upcoming release of a brand new mobile video game that will be based on the hit anime television show. The announcement was made during the recently held One Punch Man Fall Festival, which was appropriately held in Ōmiya-ku, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. There is currently no details yet regarding the mobile video game, but further announcements should be coming out very soon.

As for the brand new season itself, reports have revealed that fans might finally be able to find out the origins of Saitama's incredible powers and how he eventually lost all his hair due to his intense training.

The new episodes will also reportedly showcase the return of Lord Boros as he comes back in an even more powerful form. Along with Boros, Saitama is also expected to face several other enemies including Amai Mask, and the beastly Garou. Rumors are also claiming that Saitama's apprentice and friend Genos might become his opponent in one of the new episodes.

"One Punch Man" Season 2 is expected to come out sometime in 2017.
