Another intense showdown between Luffy and Big Mom's powerful Sweet Commander, Katakuri, is expected in the upcoming chapter 892 of "One Piece." Eiichiro Oda's popular manga series has featured the Cake Island arc for quite a long time, although it appears that the Straw Hat pirates' dilemma with Big Mom and her henchmen is nearing its end, with Luffy rumored to overpower Katakuri at last due to his upgraded Observation Haki.

The previous chapter of "One Piece" showed Big Mom reaching the Thousand Sunny ship. Everyone aboard is in great danger, given that the female Yonkou is furious that the wedding cake is not yet served in front of her. Big Mom is also determined to obliterate the Straw Hat pirates once and for all, after causing quite a ruckus in her island. The fans believe that Big Mom's tantrums will be postponed in "One Piece" chapter 892, as Sanji will be successful in serving a delicious wedding cake. Of course, it is uncertain if the cake will be enough to stop Big Mom from wreaking havoc in the Thousand Sunny, and somebody might eventually step up to fight the powerful Yonkou.

If there is one member of the Straw Hat pirates that has the biggest chance to win against Big Mom, that would be Luffy. However, the fans are not yet sold to the idea of Luffy standing his ground when he finally faces Big Mom. For one, the Straw Hat leader is still having difficulty in defeating Katakuri. While the Sweet Commander is undeniably powerful due to his unique skill to see into the future, Katakuri is considered to be a lesser threat compared to Big Mom.

As per the last chapter, Luffy is still struggling in his battle against Katakuri. However, in "One Piece" chapter 892, the protagonist is rumored to be victorious in defeating his opponent with his newly-upgraded Observation Haki. At this point, Luffy will have the same ability as Katakuri to look briefly into the future, thus giving him an opportunity to plan his upcoming attacks. Katakuri himself will notice something different about Luffy's fighting style, and the latter will slowly figure out how to deliver a damaging blow to the enemy.

Still, there is no guarantee that Luffy's upgraded Observation Haki will be enough to bring down Katakuri. The Sweet Commander will find out that Luffy's technique does not always work properly. If Luffy manages to survive longer in the battle, he can have more time to practice his Observation Haki and eventually perfect the skill. When this happens, Katakuri's defeat will be very much likely.

"One Piece" chapter 892 is expected to be released sometime this week.
