Nexus 6 pre-order: T-Mobile offers phone for free starting Nov. 12

U.S. carrier T-Mobile announced that the new Google Nexus 6 will join its stellar line up of new devices to be offered this fall. Good news is, consumers can get it for free.

Yes, buyers do not have to make any initial cashout if they plan to grab the latest Nexus smartphone. According to the press release from T-Mobile, the handset will be available at the network starting Nov. 12 under its Equipment Installment Plan with no upfront price. Buyers will just have to sign a two-year commitment with the company and pay $27.08 a month for 24 months.

The new Nexus 6 will utilize the carrier's Data Strong Network that will bring out the best out of the device's functions and capabilities.  Part of the press release reads:

The Nexus 6 sports a beautiful 6-inch Quad HD display that was made for streaming music, movies and more on T-Mobile's Data Strong™ Network. And with a 3220mAh battery and Turbo Charging, customers can get up to 6 hours of battery life with only 15 minutes of charging – so instead of spending time tethered to a wall, you can enjoy the freedom of being on-the-go."

Meanwhile, Google confirmed that the new Nexus smartphone will be available for pre-order starting Oct. 29. This means that interested buyers will be able to reserve a handset and will be prioritized once the device is shipped to the public.

Nexus 6 is also available at the Google Play Store for $649 for the 32 GB model, while the 64 GB version bears the price tag of $699. Estimated delivery of the device is in early November.

Reports also say that the Google Nexus 6 will be available through the other major U.S. carriers as well, namely Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and AT&T. However, aside from T-Mobile, the other carriers have not yet disclosed their payment plans for the new Nexus handset.

The new Google Nexus 6 boasts a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. The handset runs with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, and is available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage variants.  It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.
