American action television series "NCIS: Los Angeles" returns for the seventh episode of its ninth season. The upcoming episode will see Kensi (Daniela Ruah) transported to a missile launch facility after a team led by Air Force Captain Miller (Dustin Seavey) breaches it. The synopsis also reveals that the Kensi had dated Captain Miller a decade ago.

The preview video for the upcoming episode shows Kensi alone inside the missile launch facility on a mission to thwart the Air force captain's plans to launch multiple nuclear missiles. She understands that two people are needed to turn the keys simultaneously to launch the nuclear missiles.

In the morning of the breach, three Air Force officers took control over two launch control towers in the site. It is presumed that they are re-calibrating the target of the missiles to non-predetermined destinations which should buy Kensi valuable time since it is a complex procedure.

Kensi has been brought into the operation because of her personal knowledge of Captain Miller, having dated him for a few months. She is the team's only hope to get to the facility in time and have a shot at convincing him to not go through with his plans. Due to the two-man rule, Kensi only needs to convince one of the three men in the two control towers to thwart the launch of the deadly nuclear missiles.

It is an all hands on deck situation. The NCIS, Air Force Officer of Special Investigations, and the FBI will be working together to stop the team of Captain Miller. Federal Agent Shay Mosley (Nia Ang) has said that they have jeopardized national security by committing to an extreme act of terrorism. Will they be able to stop Captain Miller's plans?

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 episode 7 will air on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
