According to the latest spoiler reports, the brand new arc will immediately begin in the next episode as the recently concluded "Boyhood Arc" has already been closed. As the title suggests, the brand new arc will revolve around Sasuke and his life after the war. The new arc will reportedly be an adaptation of the franchise's new novel, "Sasuke Shiden: The Book Of Sunrise," which tells the story of Sasuke's atonement and of his thoughts and feelings about his brother, Itachi Uchiha, and of his murderous past.

Aside from Sasuke's inner turmoil, fans of the series will also be seeing Sasuke and Naruto's renewed friendship after everything they had gone through. Reports have revealed that there may be up to four episodes that will stricly be focusing on Sasuke's life and of his revenge plot that eventually led to his salvation. The story will also include Sasuke's journey towards finding the truth about the Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. The book which the new episodes will be based on has a total of 224 pages, so it isn't really clear just yet how many episodes will be used to cover the entire story.

The last episode that was released for "Naruto Shippuden" was episode 483, titled "Jiraiya and Kakashi," which aired last week, Nov. 10. The series itself will then take a short hiatus, with no planned episodes for Nov. 17 and Nov. 24. The series is expected to return with new episodes on Dec. 1.
