When James King joined "My 600-lb Life" back in March, Dr. Younan Nowzaradan gave up on him and sent him home because of his stubborn attitude. Fans of the show even slammed James on social media due to his unacceptable behavior. Despite that, many are asking about the condition of James after leaving the show.

James, weighing 791-lbs, first appeared on the reality show with his daughter, Bailey, and his girlfriend, Lisa. He was encouraged to lose weight when he suffered a bad fall, which made him incapable of having an active life. The fire department needed to help him during that accident so he can get up because he was so big. According to James, it was one of the lowest moments of his life.

However, instead of losing weight, James' weight uncontrollably increased and he became bedridden. On the show, it featured James worrying about the life of his father, who was sent to the hospital. He felt helpless, while watching his father call an ambulance himself. This motivated him to seek the help of Dr. Now. The family of James helped him to go to Houston, Texas so Dr. Now could assess his condition.

However, James refused to cooperate. Aside from that, his girlfriend Lisa supplied him unhealthy junk food, which worsened his situation. Both Lisa and James dismissed all of Dr. Now's advice. Since Dr. Now can no longer help James because of his stubborn attitude, he was sent home.

After that, James visited physical therapist Rudi Pijnnaken, the president of Physical Therapy International. Although that was the last part about James that was featured on the show, Pijnnaken gave an update on James' condition.

The therapist said that James has made progress on his journey to lose weight. He is no longer bedridden and he can already sit upright with one leg dangling from the bed. Lisa is already more responsible in the food choices that she gives James. Pijnnaken also revealed that James regrets his behavior on "My 600-lb Life." His current goal is to lose weight and walk again.
