Warner Brothers Interactive has just released a new Nemesis World expansion for the open-world action-adventure game "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War." The new content is titled "The Outlaw Tribe," and it mainly adds the titular tribe to the game. A harsher difficulty setting also comes with the expansion's release.

The expansion features Outlaw Showdowns, which bring new missions and challenges to the game. The Showdowns pit the player against the various Captains of the Outlaw Tribe.

There will be a feature called Tribal War Bands, as well. Players can choose to aid their allies and defeat their nemesis in these quests. With the new Purge mechanic, roaming Outlaws can wreak havoc and unleash deadly ambushes on the players' characters.

New Fortress themes arrive with the expansion, too. Players can now customize their fortress with a new Overlord throne room, as well as monuments and outposts that evoke the warring culture of the Outlaw Tribe.

The "Gravewalker" difficulty comes with the release of the expansion.

This difficulty setting is said to be even harder than the previous settings in the game. It will offer tougher opponents and riskier challenges, and to top it all off — it does not give the player any second chances. Of course, there will be new legendary gear to help accomplish the unique challenges presented by the new downloadable content (DLC).

The trailer for the expansion shows Tolkien-inspired Orcs battling it out for supremacy in the lands of Mordor. There, the sheer brutality of the tribe is expressed with some weapons — including crossbows, spears, and menacing blades.

"The Outlaw Tribe" is available now. It is part of the expansion pass for "Middle Earth: Shadow of War."

Purchasing the pass for $39.99 grants the player ownership of four expansions. These are "Slaughter Tribe," released last November, "The Outlaw Tribe," and story expansions "Blade of Galadriel" and "Desolation of Mordor." The latter two will be released in February and May of 2018, respectively.

Players can also choose to spend $14.99 to purchase "The Outlaw Tribe" individually.
