In the next episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season 5, Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) and the team will decide to go after Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "A Life Spent" was released recently and it showed Johnson confronting Deke (Jeff Ward). "If I were you, I'd get out of my way," she says to him furiously. Apparently, she is determined to get Simmons back from the Kree rulers who took her.

However, Deke grabs her arm and says, "You already destroyed the world once. I am not going to let you do it again." Johnson pulls back and delivers a slight blast which throws him against the wall. "There she is, Quake, destroyer of worlds," Deke warns her as he stares at her coldly.

It is hinted that Johnson may have used her quaking ability to destroy the planet Earth.

In the meantime, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) has no clue on how to get back to the present time on Earth. He then realizes that the answers may not be in the station but out there in space. "I think that we can all agree at this point that anything is possible... The answer to why we are here might be out there," Coulson says to his team.

It remains to be seen if the agents will be able to find a way to get back to the present.

In the last episode, Coulson and the team found themselves inside a strange station out in space. They were chased by a deadly alien but were saved by Johnson who used her powers to kill it. The team met the human inhabitants there who were slaves to the Kree aliens who managed the place.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 episode 3 will hit the airwaves on Friday, Dec. 8 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
