It looks like the search for love did not end for David Norton and Vanessa Nelson after "Married at First Sight" season 3, where the two were participants.

"The FYI viewers have spoken, and we have listened to their demands to give two of the popular 'Married at First Sight' participants a second chance to find a meaningful partner," FYI executive vice president for programming and development Gena McCarthy said in an official statement.

The fan favorites will star in a spinoff series titled "Married at First Sight: Second Chances," where fans can watch them go on dates with multiple suitors and "potentially find everlasting love with the likes of viewers and real people who are eager to date them."

"Married at First Sight" experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson, and Rachel DeAlto will be guiding Norton and Nelson as they go about their new journey.

"I am grateful to be given a second chance at finding love and can't wait to share my journey with the fans of Married at First Sight," Norton told People.

"I'm excited to experience this next chapter in the story of finding 'Mrs. Right.' Hopefully this next chapter will be the last!" he went on to say.

Fans will remember that in the third season of "Married at First Sight," Norton was married to Ashley Doherty who struggled to communicate and connect as a couple. The latter even said she was "not attracted" to him.

Nelson, on the other hand, was married to Tress Russell. Things were smooth for the two and they even decided to continue their marriage after the experiment.

However, it did not last long as the two failed to keep the connection they had going from the show. Nelson said that it was painful to end it. Russell said that over time, his feelings for Nelson faded.

"Married at First Sight: Second Chances" will give both Nelson and Norton another chance at love. The production for the spinoff is well underway.
