According to the latest scoop regarding the MacBook Pro, the next-gen 13-inch Mac Pro laptop is likely to make the jump to Coffee Lake processors, which is currently the latest generation of computer processor from Intel. There is a wide range of possibility as the 13-inch MacBook Pro is packed with the Coffee Lake chip, including faster performance and improved battery power efficiency. Most of all, many users are looking forward to see how the new MacBook Pro will be enhanced as the Coffee Lake processor uses four cores instead of the usual two.
It is anticipated that the Intel Coffee Lake chips will be notably faster than the Kaby Lake, especially in cases that the MacBook Pro 2018 does not require the use of all four processor cores. Moreover, the latest Coffee Lake technology was based on more advanced chip manufacturing design.

In an effort to bring down the costs and risks in the production of 2018 Mac Pro laptops, the company has decided to distribute more orders from Quanta to Foxconn. The implication of this move is that there might be no major hardware update expected in the new Mac Pro.
