It will still take almost two weeks before fans finally see what happens in "Lucifer" season 3 episode 9, titled "The Sinnerman." FOX's television series will be on a one-week hiatus for Thanksgiving, thus it revealed a standalone episode last Monday, Nov. 20.

Fans did not encounter a major cliffhanger in the show's previous episode. But on its return, viewers should get ready to see Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) getting face-to-face with the Sinnerman himself.

In the official synopsis of "Lucifer" season 3 episode 9, Lucifer is starting to worry when he finds out the "recipients of his favors" are turning up dead. As he and Chloe investigate the case, it will lead them to face the Sinnerman.

In other "The Sinnerman" events, Detective Pierce (Tom Welling) is now back to work after catching a bullet. Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) will also find a new career, while Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) will meet his new love interest.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode of "Lucifer" season 3, titled "Chloe Does Lucifer," it tackled a real-life issue about one's obsession with image. Here, the show featured the beauty of family bonding and how to be one's self while playing Monopoly.

In episode 8, Lucifer, Chloe, and Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) were seen playing Monopoly like a real family. "Boring suits you, brother," Amenadiel told his sibling. With that, he realized that he also has another persona other than just being a retaliator. However, as he was still denying his good sides, and he just wanted to put it aside and be the person he really wanted himself to be.

"Chloe Does Lucifer" showed how Ellis' character tried his best to hide his soft side while playing Monopoly with Chloe and Trixie. And although he was having fun being around with the two girls, he still chose to be tagged as the nemesis.

"Lucifer" season 3 episode 9, titled "The Sinnerman," will air on Monday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
