It looks like a lot of twists and turns are about to happen on the return of "Lucifer" season 3 in 2018. Aside from the huge midseason finale revelation, Jillian Rose Reed is about to join the Fox television series on its return.

According to reports, the "Awkward" star will be playing the role of Cece. She will be the quirky, bubbly, and a very devoted personal assistant to a known pop star. This star is also said to be her best friend that she has been living with for a number of years.

However, it is not yet revealed who this pop giant would be or in what "Lucifer" season 3 episode she would be seen. So, it looks like fans still have to wait for Fox's official announcement about Reed's appearance on the show.

Meanwhile, it seems like "Lucifer" season 3 episode 11 will be continuing the explosive events that happened in the midseason finale. It has been revealed that Marcus Pierce (Tom Welling) is actually Cain, the guy who killed his brother, Abel, in the Bible.

In an interview with TV Line, the show's lead star Tom Ellis shared how this revelation will affect Lucifer and Pierce's working relationship. Lucifer has threatened Pierce to reveal his real identity at the precinct. However, the latter got back to him by saying that he cannot even convince them that he is the devil.

Although he has been hit by what he said, Lucifer decided that he will be using him to get back to his father. "Lucifer's goal is to get back at his dad and get rid of his wings, and Cain's biggest desire is to die," the 39-year-old actor said.

With that, Lucifer will be helping Pierce to do what he aims as he dares his dad to remove the curse from him on the return of "Lucifer" season 3. "They have this kind of strange bromance for a few episodes," Ellis teased.

Fox has yet to announce "Lucifer" season 3 episode 11's official title and return date.
