"Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" is going to be a field day for Marvel and video game fans everywhere. The newest Lego-themed adventure game is bringing together both superheroes and supervillains from the franchise's different realms and timelines.

Some of the characters from the upcoming game have already been revealed on the Lego website and a handful of the heroes and villains that are making an appearance are Groot, Star Lord, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Kang the Conqueror and more.

The "Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" trailer, which was uploaded on Marvel Entertainment's YouTube channel on May 26, showcases some of the things the game has to offer.

It opens with an action sequence of Rocket Raccoon running away from gunfire and as he makes his way through Chronopolis, players are given glimpses of even more heroes and villains to come. Included in the trailer are snippets of Loki sitting beside a table, Hawkeye firing arrows in the background, the Hulk raining his fists down on his foes and even more characters running amok and beating up baddies to save the day.

Aside from an impressive roster of heroes and villains, "Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" has even more goodies to offer players. One of the features is an open world hub with a variety of places including Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar, New York City in 2099, Xandar and many more.

The upcoming Lego game also features an original storyline which serves as a sequel to the previous game, "Lego Marvel Super Heroes."

The game will have a four-player multiplayer mode which will allow friends and families to fight alongside one another or to challenge each other in player-versus-player combat.

"Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
