Kylie Jenner drops hints on child's gender; also gets social media flak for 'overpriced' makeup brushes

Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Travis Scott are gaining media attention because of rumors surrounding Jenner's pregnancy. The makeup mogul has not officially announced her pregnancy to the public yet, despite sources confirming that the story is true. Jenner also recently caught flak for selling makeup brushes that her fans deemed were a tad bit overpriced.

People Magazine reported that Jenner is currently pregnant with her first child, a girl. In their report, they say multiple sources, like Jenner's friends or people close to the family, confirmed Jenner's pregnancy.

One source said that the Jenner/Kardashian family had known about Jenner's pregnancy for a while. They added that both Jenner and Scott are "excited" about the thought of bearing a child.

Another said that while the pregnancy was "unexpected," it was still "completely amazing." Still, another said that "Everyone is overjoyed for [Jenner]."

While the pregnancy is all but confirmed by Jenner herself, she seems to be dropping hints as to the gender of her baby. People Magazine points out how her 20-foot Christmas tree was covered in pink ornaments.

There are also Marilyn Monroe pop art prints on the background of the tree. Add these clues to the photos of pink decorations and pink butterfly jewelry Jenner posted early last month, and it is not hard to guess that Jenner is probably carrying a girl.

Meanwhile, Jenner has also caught the attention of social media, not because of her pregnancy or her relationship with her boyfriend. Apparently, the makeup businesswoman is selling a set of 16 silver makeup brushes for the price of $350.

Most of the followers found the price too steep, but Jenner said in a tweet that her "luxury brushes" are "real." She added that she will gladly make synthetic brushes in the future and would sell them at a lower price.
