In the next episode of "Knightfall," Landry (Tom Cullen) receives the clue from his fellow Templar in order to find the missing Holy Grail.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Black Wolf and the White Wolf" was just released, and it showed Landry getting instructions along with a vital clue to the whereabouts of the lost grail. "Godfrey [Sam Hazeldine] left you and you alone the way to find the grail and keep it safe," the custodian tells him.

Apparently, the gem found in the special compartment of Godfrey's sword reveals the map to the lost cup of Christ. When the precious stone is placed in the lantern, the light shining through it reflects clues to the location of the grail. Landry is astonished by the new revelation, but he is also determined to go on the quest.

"How could you protect the cup that wields the power God when you don't know what that power is?" the custodian asks Landry. With this, it appears the Templar has a lot to think about before he searches for the grail. Meanwhile, Guillaume de Nogaret (Julian Ovenden) has his own plans in mind in order to secure the power of the French. It remains to be seen what he has in store for the Templars and their quest for the Holy Grail.

In the last episode, Landry and Parsifal (Bobby Schofield) avenged the death of the young man's wife who was killed by robbers. In the process, the Templar was also able to retrieve the body of Godfrey, which was previously stolen. Apparently, they wanted the body because there was a key hidden in the stomach. The purpose of the key was not yet revealed, and what it is supposed to open remains unknown.

"Knightfall" season 1 episode 3 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 10 p.m. EST on the History channel.
